NEW THEME LEAGUE: NO-HITTER

Been out of the loop in STRAT for quite some time due to work sitch, great to be back. Time for a new twist theme league:

League config: NO DH, AUTO DRAFT, WAIVERS, 80 Mill
PASSWORD ENTRY, VETERAN requirement

[b:5d4c3435b7]RULES:[/b:5d4c3435b7]
In autodraft, Owners can draft any pitchers, but may only draft hitters with a salary .99 mill or less (no hitter more than .99 mill)
As part of waivers, owners may then pickup any hitters (any salary).

This will create several interesting strategical situations--do you auto-draft purposely to get #1 waiver pick (by picking very popular pitchers)---how to prioritize your 8 waiver picks, what hitters under a mill are worth keeping etc.

If you want in, please sign up.

Not sure if I qualify as a veteran, unless the "Veteran" to the left is what you mean :)

Actually played in my first league with you MtheB - your Uptown Gettygowners edged me out of first in the last few days of the season. I love the premise you've offered here, so count me in if I qualify.

Cheers.

DP--
you are abso in, glad that you are.
I remember that league for several reasons--that was a nailbiter of a finish.
I seem to remember that you got an incredible year from Honus, who actually ended up hitting his exact actual BA if I remember right: .339
weird
and you had a dynamite season from Hal Newhouser...
