Trammell?

Trammell?

Postby crackerjaxon » Sat Nov 12, 2005 10:14 am

Does anyone have any experience with Trammell at Fenway 67? He's the closest thing I have to a leadoff hitter on this team:

Also thinking about Luzinski instead of the Ripper.

Will the pitching staff get killed?

Is the team too right-handed?

Will Paris Hilton ever be happily married?

Any advice is deeply appreciated.

Yes, you are way too right handed IMHO. Also, I am not in love with your pitching staff, way too many BP HR's.

Speaking of IN LOVE ... No Paris will never be happily married ... But, I did keep her satisfied for a couple of nights!

The reason I ask is that I have been getting my a** kicked more seriously than usual as of late. The reason, I think, is that I don't know jack about estimating pitchers. Is there any handy-dandy way to do it? Mostly, I look for dead-ball pitchers in hitter's parks and strikeout pitchers in pitcher's parks. Maybe I ain't living right.

I am glad that you were able to bring a few moments of joy into the nubile Ms. Hilton's life.

Couple of thoughts .......

Podres and Wilson are gonna get hit hard in your park. So will Richert.

Fox is not the right guy for your park, though he is a great 2B. Gordon, Lazzeri or even Doerr might be better choices at 2B.

Greenberg's D is gonna kill you. He is strictly a DH. Riggs Stephenson, Cleon Jones or Al Smith would fit nicely in LF for you.

Keep Ripper and Carter. Hegan is a waste of $.300 because Carter is only a 3 game injury risk. Use the money elsewhere and find a cheaper backup.

Jones will only hit at 3B if you are facing a lot of LHP's which you won't with your current lineup. Brett, Boyer or Rosen are good alternates.

Salmon and Pafko are perfect backups for your park.

Hope it helps.

Trammell is like Penelope Cruz.
You know the defense is there, it's expensive, you always feel a little cheated but you can't argue with the results.

I'd have to search teams, but I've had a few "decent" seasons outta Trammell (.300 BA, 20+ HR's)
