Double check to make SURE you have no other pitcher's set to not use before 8th. If you don't, then wipe out all his settings, save, then re-select and save again. You can have multiple pitcher's set to not use before the 6th & 7th, but only ONE each of not using before 8th and 9th.

It sounds like something that's happened to me - assuming you'd set Sparky to avoid before 8th then tried to change one of his other settings. I think the "other" pitcher the system is referring to as already designated that way is actually Sparky from the first time you saved his settings. If you uncheck it and save then start over, it should work properly. (Hope that makes sense)

Need to keep in mind that HAL will do things with your bullpen that no sane manager ever would. It takes some getting used to. Good luck. :shock:
