This is a different mix of players for me and for the life of me, I can't generate any runs:

So far this is what I've been using:

1. McCosky, Barney (L) LF
2. Dawson, Andre (R) CF
3. Furillo, Carl (R) RF
4. Collins, Ripper (S) 1B
5. Schoendienst, Red (S) 2B
6. Boggs, Wade (L) 3B
7. Smith, Ozzie (S) SS
8. Hegan, Jim (R) inj C
9. Pitcher P

Lineup vs. RHP

1. Smith, Ozzie (S) SS
2. Boggs, Wade (L) 3B
3. McCosky, Barney (L) LF
4. Collins, Ripper (S) 1B
5. Furillo, Carl (R) RF
6. Dawson, Andre (R) CF
7. Schoendienst, Red (S) 2B
8. Hegan, Jim (R) inj C
9. Pitcher P

Any and all ideas welcome!

Thanks! :D

Tim

Hmm...I tend to use unconventional line-ups. Most folks don't like them, but if it were my team I would try...

VLH

Furillo (I try not to lead off with a lhh against lhp, too many hard lhp)
Boggs
Collins
Dawson
Red
Ozzie
McCosky
Hegan

VRH
Ozzie
Boggs
McCosky
Collins
Furillo
Dawson
Red
Hegan

tkl....I think that line up is ONE strong RBI guy away from being good. you don't really have that RBI stud you need and perhaps 1 hole too many in the line up. If Red is hitting vs either side I would move him to lead off...with his awful clutch you won't get much out of him low in the line up.

Rob, I think you hit it on the head. I thought that Ripper might be that guy, but now I remember why I don't ever use him.

He can provide lots of power....in a different park ...in yours he is more of a role player.
