Depends on how many PAs (plate appearances) the player had in the year he is carded for. Less than 600 PA's, anywhere from in game only up to 15 games. 600-679 PA's, the range is in game only up to 3 games. 680 PA's and up, the player can only suffer an in game injury only. In this game, HBP do not figure in to the PA's, only At Bats and Walks.

Which number (2-12; 3-11, etc.) has nothing to do with how many games a player can miss, but rather with how likely it is that he will get injured. To see how many games a player will miss, look at his AB + BB. If he has less than 600, he can go down for up to 15 games at a time. If he has 600-679, he can only go down for up to 3 games at a time. If he has 680 or more, he can only be injured during that game. The actual number of games a player will miss is determined by the split cards and a chart. Sometimes the player is only injured for the game, sometimes for longer. Hope this helps.

the LO MAX does not refer to the injury....so the injury is the same as any other. LO MAX is line out maximum number of outs. If there is one runner on base its a dbl play....if 2 runners then its a triple play.

Talk about adding insult to injury...hit into a triple play AND go down with injury. I am surprised my players haven't figured that one out yet. Probably will have three tonight.
