Pitcher Range Rating question

Guys,
I think I am right with this assumption but wanted to bounce it off of you.
On a pitchers card, is the number that follows "Pitcher-" the pitchers range?
(i.e. e6 #1WR pitcher-2 starter(9)@ would have a range of 2)?
Curious.
