For those who like the Alphabet Soup leagues, I offer the Alphabet Challenge, a 12 season letter rotation, you play each letter one time. I’ll offer a FREE CREDIT for the champ!
It seems every team has holes, working around them and getting a good combo is fun, so let's do it 12 times! This is about manager ability (and a bit of luck of course) as drafting and waiver skill do not enter into your team selection and sucess. You need to build a team with a set of players, often with weaknesses.
Rules:
1. Only players with you letter(s) are eligible to be on your roster.
2. Players with letters not picked are not eligible to play for any team.
3. $80M DH league, autodraft, no waivers, but not needed.
4. Park must be one of your letters
5. 12 season progression & commitment, you play each letter(s)
6. Divisions re-aligned randomly each new season
7. One new season PER WEEK, must have team drafted by Friday
8. sschu will transfer FREE CREDIT to the manager with the BEST Won/Lost record for the 12 seasons. Ties will be decided by best record with the “C” letter/team and then via coin flip.
First teams letter:
C - sschu

Schu - I've sent a PM to you regarding clarification on what the letters determine. Do they allow you to pick players and do they relate to last names or is there another purpose as Teams.

Just a clartification:
The letter selected determines your eligible players based upon the first letter of the players last name. The letter also determines eligible parks you can play in based upon the first letter of the park. No one else can use the players or the park of that letter for that season.
This is the 3rd or 4th alphabet league, there are sufficient players to fill out a roster and get a "decent" team put together. There are compromises, however, and that is the interesting part to me. I have Patsy Doughrty (sp) and Art Devlin on a team, the C's have a real shortage of RPs, other teams have other issues.
That is the fun and challenge of it, to figure out how to win with a less than perfect roster.

In the G-Men challenge league that I am in, which is the exact same theme, the PD team and the M team are crushing the rest of the league. The W team is really struggling. It all depends on who you have on your roster and what park you select though.
Some clarification is needed for Orosco, Henderson and Clemens as to what letter they belong.

Good point on clarification, here is the rule:
Orosco is an O
Clemens is a C
Henderson is an H
