In the Triple Crown he has trailed Cobb & Wagner all year and just passed them up. Wagner is at .372 and Cobb is at .370, the next closest is Joe D at .364. The other categories aren't close, 2nd in HR's is Campy & Mantle w/53 & 2nd in RBI's is Mantle w/133 (58 behind :shock: ).

Sweet! It's always a blast to have one of your guys put up a season like that. I almost had a triple crown with Gehrig once:

...but Ruth hit 70 dingers.

Somedays when I get really frustrated with my teams I pull up this team and just gaze at Gehrig's numbers for a while... :D

I suspect you had an unusually large number of lefties in your division, am I right?

5 lefty starters in my division (none of which I would consider top notch.....)

I guess my post jinxed Ruth. After posting he had a bad series, no HR's or RBI's & his BA dropped to .367 in addtion to getting injured. :roll:
