ATG 3, It's Time .......Everbody pretty much knows the same stuff, drafts the same players, same stadiums. 51 stadiums to select from but we use only 8-10 of them and the outcome is determined mostly by luck and injuries.........ATG 3 It's Time. :D
Let's start asking and we might get that ball rolling. :D :D :D

I totally agree!!!!!! We need different players.
Of course that would level the playing field regarding the little issue of rankings. 8)

Ditto the above. However, IF it's coming, my bet is it's 8-9 months away, at least. That would be about the two year anniversary of ATG 2.

Nothing better in Life than the knowledge of new players on the way and the talk of who will be chosen.
My feeling is allstar teams from each decade excluding cards already in the set ( same year) would be fun and rather easy to duplicate. SOM has many cards from the HOF sets as well as greatest teams sets which could be used.

If it is coming I would be it is closer to 18-24 months away. Remember how long it was from the time TSN first dropped hints about it until it arrived? Efforts through spring will be to get 2006 out. Then maybe they start thinking/working on an ATG3 during the summer/fall. Even if they completed it and had it ready for winter release not likely to release it just a couple months before the 2007 game is due. So most likely release date would be 6 months after that game.
Not trying to poop anyone's party. Just being realistic.

I am looking forward to ATG 3 but I have not at all grown board of ATG 2. I have "only" had 39 teams rather than the 150+ that many people have. I think if people would not do so many teams they would find a new interest in the game. I can not imagine ever wanting to start more than one team a week. While I would like to start one every night, I know it would eat away at my enjoyment of the game. Every team I do is very meaningful to me and a great deal of thought goes into the creation of each one, this is something that is hard to do when you have so many teams. I guess if I was retired I would have more time to do more teams, but for now I will stick with a lower number. Just a suggestion, although I like the guys that do so many teams because they make it a lot easier to fill leagues up. :D

Give me Lajoie w/ 48 Doubles, 14 Triples, 14 HRs w/ 125 RBIs and .426 BA. Give me George Sisler w/ 49 Doulbes, 18 Triples, 19 HRs w/ 122 RBIs and .407 BA. And Ed Walsh w/ 40 Wins 464 IPs and 1.42 ERA. Just to name a few. 8)

How did they choose which teams to drop from ATG1 and which teams to add for ATG2?
