I'm confused (Which isn't hard to do)

From my understanding on how to read the cards, how does Maury Wills get picked off? That is exactly how an inning died. The box score said he was picked off. I didn't think he could be picked off only caught stealing. Have I missed something?

 You've got me there. His card has a "-" on pickoff. There must be something in superadvanced rules in certain situations and blah blah blah (you've heard this before when truly bizzare things happen that should not be able to happen). Actually, I believe HAL throws the cards out and just arbitrarily creates a game and box score out of its twisted little mind....
:D

Yeah, I think there is some deal when the pitcher has a minus 6 hold and the catcher is a (1)-4 and there is a full moon and a 99 roll comes up on the 100 sided dice, Wills gets picked off. Really, I don't know either. I think this makes up for the home run he hit for someone else.

We all know that the HR is a triple that he stretches into an inside-the-park HR in certain ballparks in months that begin with A, and the weather is pouring rain.

On a hit and run, batter misses pitch, runner has to get his lead. if he does not get his lead, he's picked off.

:? Sounds reasonable. Are you sure, or are you a great BSer? If the latter, you should go to law school and become a lawyer!

I might buy that but my team is 1 for 1 in hit and runs. I'm starting to seriously consider doing nothing but the PC version. Have more control and rules don't get changed just because HAL has a little extra to drink.

This has nothing to say about your situation. Maury Wills was probably one of the best base stealers in the game. Me being a Chicago Cub fan I was happy that thay obtained Juan Pierre. Cory Paterrson was not or will never be a lead-off hitter. I like Maury Wills when he gets on base. In the real world a really amazing player.
