Apparently you do not pause in your player transactions either! I say dance with the ones that brung you, then enjoy complaining about how HAL is screwing you. Works for me. Most of the time, unfortunately.

What is a punctuation mark :?: Help :!: I make minimum moves most of the time now unless I can trade Finally figured out losing all the $ causes celler claustrophobia  I have had a lot of that but I still feel alone  There has to be at least one out there other than me that did this

Using 125 players boggles my mind ... that's 5 entire rosters! Just curious ... what players do you get stuck with when you get to that point? A bunch of .50 guys? You can't have too much budget left.

125 players? No. But I have made my fair share of moves in a season . There comes a point when you know all is lost and alot of times I will make moves just to try someone new out and see what they can do . In the beginning I trashed alot of teams . Patience has become a keyword but don't hold me to it either . If a guy is 0-7 with a 6+ era after 25 played . Sorry but that's not cutting it . If a player plays 40 games and is under the Mendosa line ...adios .

I very rarely make any moves during the season period. Unless a guy goes down for 15 around the 140 mark, or if I had a little cash left to make an upgrade for the playoff push. My feeling is that this game is all about stats, so if babe ruth underperforms badly for half a season then odds are he will have a monster second half. He may underperform on the season as a whole but the second half is worth keeping him. If you drop him you miss out on the stats evening out. My teams usually do well late in the season because I let my boys play while other guys panic and make changes that usually hurt their team. Just one mans philosophy though. :)

I usually stand pat as a general rule, but have been known to make some minor moves based on my teams LH/RH splits.

I had Babe Ruth in Forbes '09 (my first team) and figured out halfway through that he was in the wrong park. He was performing very poorly and hurting my team. I almost coughed up a lung when I saw the $3M cap hit, but I picked up Rickey and he spiced things up. It was too little too late though.
