I don't have this one thought out all the way yet...

but how about a league where trades are mandated at a minimum of every week on Sunday? (obviously excpet the 7th Sunday which would be after game 141). OR maybe every 4 days (12 games) so everybody gets to trade with everybody at least once...

There are always very few trades in any league.

HOw could this be accomplished that would be fair? Should everybody have a neutral park? SHould the value traded each time be the same? (say, $25M?)?

Whatcha think. too hard?

Since the biggest obstacle to trades is salary, let me suggest this.

You make it a $100M league, and the agreed upon salary range is to be.....maybe $79-81M???? The numbers may not be correct for what you're thinking, but something like a range needs to be considered, well under the HAL mandated cap

Many times I've tried to work a trade, and the other guy wanted to make the deal, and there was no way to get the salaries to work out with the rosters. The $2M range I suggest may get around this, and still keep an equitable salary structure.

The thing to avoid is the willingness to make a deal and it not being possible with a $80M cap and 2 teams at $79.9M. Then you end up trading the same $.5 guys around all year.

Good luck

200 Million Cap with maybe a 100 team limit, no one could pass without commish's approval and then only by .999 area. That way you are always able to stay near the cap. The 100 Million buffer should take care of any problems with making trades.
