$200mill/no dh league
homepark: Comiskey '19 (starts this week)

1) What is the optimal line-up for the following players? Except for my homepark & about 2 others, my team is playing mainly in extreme hitters parks. (including 3 Fenway '67's)

C M Cochrane
1b R York
2b R Hornsby
ss R Yount
3b S Bando
LF C Yastremski
CF D Snider
RF T Gywnn

I'm thinking:

1- Gywnn L
2- Yount R
3- Hornsby R
4- Snider L
5- York R
6- Yastremski L
7- Bando R
8- Cochrane L

2) Pitching:

SP R Clemens
SP S Koufax
SP T Seaver
SP J Koosman
RP T Martinez

I also have: S Carlton, B Gibson, D Stewart

How do starters perform in the closing role? Is using Gibson as a right-handed closer, an option? (I'm looking to obtain a legitamate right-handed closer.)

Is it sound strategy to go w/big bats & dominant pitching in a pitchers park? Or will this totally back-fire on me? I'm counting on winning a high percentage of my home games. I just hope I don't lose as many away games. Any ideas?

Like your top 2 starters in Comisky Clemens went 10-2 there after I dumped Hornsby to get him in 8o mil league but playing mostly in P parks Hornsby was under 300 I would run him out every day in hitters league My best luck in 200 mil leagues is use extreme platoons at certain positions I have Roenicke against LH 15 HR in less than 100 AB Allison against RH somewhere with HR parks around Wera as PH against LH just to name a few Pitching really hasn't had a lot of sayso in my 200 mil league Trade a lot mainly P Best ERA Cicotte 1-6 record Team is 40-41 but in contention Just a few thoughts
