anybody use B. Sullivan, catcher?

Getting bored with using the same players over and over again ... Sherm Lollar is my man behind the plate, but thought I'd try someone new. Granted, Sullivan's arm is subpar ... but how does he hit? I'd be using him in an obp-and-doubles-oriented Astrodome team: Speaker, Wagner, Rolfe, Furillo, Cooper, plus the Babe. Any advice appreciated. Other options are Kling and Meyers. Not sure I can afford O'Neill.

Used him twice I believe, he'll hit near .300 with an OBP near .400. Just the subpar defense that hurts a little.

A left handed Spud Davis ....

at sportsman46 on my first (out of 2) title team:

Sullivan Jr., B. L C 3(+1)e10 522 53 35 6 59 60 0 20 .272 .408 .348

I know I've used him somewher else before 2, but forgot where.

Good offense for the price, but the def is what holds ppl back from using him.

Try Lombardi! :D

I always get him when I miss out on Carter, and used to drop him for a cheaper option, but here is what he's done when I've kept him:

6 games to go in the season.

Had him a couple times, not worth it with the cheaper bargains at catcher IMO.
