Playing in Dunn

I could go with strong D at 2b (Whitaker) or go for O with J. Robinson (3e23) or the always exciting L. Doyle (3e38)

I've had decent success with Whitaker and he should do ok in Dunn but J. Rob would allow me to bring Luderus on board at 1b.

J. Robinson (currently at 1b) and Whitaker

or

J. Robinson at 2nd with Luderus at 1b

or

J. Robinson at 1b with Doyle at 2b

????

Here's my current line-up....

1. Robinson, Jackie (R) 1B
2. Doyle, Larry (L) 2B
3. Cuyler, Kiki (R) LF
4. Snider, Duke (L) CF
5. Yount, Robin (R) SS
6. Rice, Sam (L) RF
7. Rolfe, Red (L) 3B
8. McCarver, Tim (L) C
9. Pitcher P

Get the glove.

I would take Whit only if you can get Maz for a platoon. There are other options at Dunn at 2B that will do OK, Gilliam, Frey, Doran, Evers, Evers/Maz, Herr, Gantner/Maz. Ludes always hits about 330+ in Dunn.

Doyle will hit well, but not worth the loss in the field IMHO.

I would consider a platoon of Manny Mota against righties, and Pat Crawford against lefties. Only 1 million for the pair! No need to check the cards, just take my word for it.

I've had good production with Whitaker/Frank White if you have the cash... :)
