How can Orlando Cepeda with 162 games played and over 650 AB+BB be injured for 3 games excluding the game injured. One of the worse things about ATG2 is that the length of injuries aren't reduced during playoff series.

In this case a player who played 162 games misses more games than he did during the entire season.

The Giants played the Dodgers in a playoff that year after they finished tied in the regular season. So Cepeda did not play in all of his teams games, which is the criteria for having no injury on the card. Since he had fewer than 680 AB + walks, he is eligible for a 3 game injury.
