Great staff. Good D, Positive clutch, and Fast. Alot to like. I vote for 88- 93 wins.
:)
Merkle is a steal and might go 15-100-100 if he's in the middle :)

Charlie,
Hey, you're stealing my team ........ I own the Clutch Cargos Franchise ....... I want royalties on this one!
Seriously, I've completed 7 seasons with my Clutch Cargos teams and all but one have had 90 or more wins. You need another category. My teams normally go for value pitching, and obviously you went with some top of the line pitching, so it'll be interesting to see how you do. Keep me posted.

By the theme, I'm guessing this is the invite league.....
Which means, there are 11 other TOUGH managers in this league. The rest of his division, is Astrodome(Penngray), Wrigley 59 and Forbes.
I do not think there are any, let alone enough, automatic HRs in this lineup.
With all those pitcher parks, I myself, would downgrade some of the SPers, not all, but some, and use 4-5 million in savings in the lineup somewhere (possibly LF). I really dont care for Kaline, especially in that division, his few BP homers are, essentially, auto outs.
Inspite of all that, as the current team stands. I figured its a .500 team because of the staff, and added 7-9 games for the clutch. Figuring that clutch will be a factor in 15 games, and you get clutch rolls around 50% of the time.
I voted 82-87

I voted 82-87 primarily beause of the competition. If Kaline and Doby get some good rolls, the team could be flat dangerous.

Coach,
The best ideas are always the ones you steal! Keep an eye out for that royalty check. Hope it works out for me as it did for you. I plan on keeping more detailed statistics to see how situational hitting is, I wish HAL let you know when he hits and runs and when he bunts that would help.
And Leo it is the Leo's invite league, which is my favorite league and I like the fact the champ gets to set the rules for the next league - PJ did a great job here with a 16 round draft and if I can stay within 1 game of PJ's win total I think I will be OK. It is funny you mentioned LF, originally I was going to keep Hiller in LF and use Stephenson under the Chief Wahoo theme exception rule. [See Muttdoc Bible - Rant 456 - Posting 36]. I thought I really needed a legit hitter there but then I had an inspiration Sunday that hit me that returned me to my old train of thought - whenever I start thinking I have enough pitching to get by I should add some more. So I will see if this comes back to bite me, it is surely the weakness of this team.

Keep us posted, I'd be curious to see how the pitching heavy team does.
P.S. - I've got another one Clutch Cargos 9 firing off tonight ...
