anyone else notice something weird

I played three last night against a team who had dropped Bracheen from his roster before the games and he pitched anyway!I had substituted a new starter, and he didn't pitch.

anyone else have similar trouble?

If you make roster chanegs after 10 and before the games are run, the chanegs are not in effect for that night's games.

For example, if you traded players with your opponent for that night's games, you will still have the players traded for one last series.

Rommel caught stealing was probably a hit & run where the batter missed the pitch. If the batter misses the pitch the runner is forced to steal the base. I would bet Rommel steal rating is pretty crummy.

Essex - I noticed the same thing. I had made afternoon waiver wire changes, but the old players still played last night (and stunk). Wonder if it has to do with the maintenance.

Rommel being the leadoff man makes sense then. He probably got on base and on of the batters after him tried to execute a H&R. He missed the pitch, and Rommel got caught going on the play.
