Been waiting patiently all season for these guys to come alive and start hitting. Ever seen such mediocrity across the board??? Only Aaron is earning his check.
I really thought this team had the look of a winner, and there's still time, but what a letdown. That hitting coach is toast....

That guy always hits .300. He's the Buck Weaver of outfielders.
There, my secret is out of the bag...

You're doing good to be 9 games over .500 with all those underperformers. You have solid pitching. You have to believe a couple of guys, at least, will get hot and help you close the gap with your division leader. :)

All I can offer is make one or two changes to the batting order, and then maybe the rolls will start following your way. Swap Pesky and Collins and Murray and Aaron and see what happens.

Shhhh....if you want your guys to return to their norms, prepare for your #3 and #4 SPs to return to Earth and bring Mr. Aaron with them. I personally find Murray to be one of the most inconsistent 6M+ hitters in the set, and I don't find Collins to be a rock solid leadoff guy any more. Still, a solid lineup that should get you to 87-90 wins - will it be enough?
And just remember - things can always get worse:
