Zippy's $200M Hitting Challenge a.k.a Dunk Zippy, Part Deux
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2006 5:18 pmOK folks, I'm getting very bored with ATG2 and wanted to spice things up a little. This is a companion league to my $200M Pitching Challenge, for any of you who may have been involved in that.
The premise: I get to create my "perfect" 9-man hitting lineup (pre-autodraft) in a $200M DH format. The rest of my team will be comprised as thus: A) during autodraft mode, I can only select $.50M pitchers and $.50M backups. B) I must wait until 1 full day after waivers have been processed to make any pickups I want... in other words, I only get your leftover hitters and pitchers.
Everyone else's team is chosen by autodraft, but no team can have any of my perfect 9 hitters on their autodraft card. The rest are up for grabs. Additionally, while you all are free to trade, I cannot trade with anyone.
Division assignments will be determined by lottery order (low to high). 1,4,7,10 East, 2,5,8,11 Central, 3,6,9,12 West.
(If anyone who joins wants to suggest additional rules/restrictions, feel free to do so.)
The incentive: If any other team but my own wins the finals, you get an extra credit from me for your championship. If I win, I just get the glory.
