Looking for some thoughts. Only the 2nd time ever playing in '56 Yankee Stadium. Other stadiums R Fenway '86, Royals '80 and Dodger '65.

Pretty good start.
You need a lefty killer in your lineup.
With Mathews, Snider, Yaz and May, you don't need Ripper so much. Either move Collins for a platoon with a big lefty killer such as Ray Knight (my personal favorite) or straight up for a VG RH 1B--have used McGwire for that, low BA, but tons of RBIs. Frank McCormack also good choice for Yankee 56 as he will hit 300+. any money you save, look to add a lefty killer catcher--parrish, crandall, battey.

Upon a quick glance, this team looks pretty good.
Snider, Yaz, Mathews, May.... nice, nice, nice, nice.
Hopefully, Ripper, Gilliam and Rice keep their OBP up. Though I must admit that I think pure RH balanced OBP guys to balance with the LH power is better, but I have had good seasons from Rice in Y56. I am iffy on Ripper and have no experience with Gilliam.
Ford, Lolich and Kaat are solid, unsure about Demaree. Your pen looks great, you have no closer rating conflict and Beggs lack of HR, in that division, is great.
Have fun!
