Now in fairness and to play devil's advocate to my own post, I did have him lose both games 1 and 5 in a semis a couple weeks back ....

I thought PJ's post was a "THIS is why you draft Moose Haas" post....
Rich, I'm in that league as well. My Retail Chemists just fell in game 5 to the Comics. Friggin Clemens.

Pete is tough in the playoffs, but the guy who always seem to beat my teams in the playoffs is named Speer.

It should be an interesting finals. My team #1 in pitching, #12 in scoring vs. the Comics who are #2 in pitching and #11 in scoring.
Can you say low scoring series??? That makes me think of another poll question ......... how many runs will be scored per game in this series???
P.S. - I'm starting to find myself feeling a lot of Boston #21 love actually. He's been putting up some great seasons for me lately.

Haas scared me, that's for sure, but Pete always finds a way. You always sleep well when you know Pete is throwing for you in the deciding game.
Before this online strat game was launched, how many of you walked the streets preaching the sainthood of Pete? Any barroom debate over the best pitcher ever most likely centered around Walter Johnson, Sandy Koufax, or even some of the new guys like Pedro or Randy Johnson.
We're rewriting history here! Revisionists unite! Should we rename it the Pete Alexander award???

Subvert the dominant paradigm!
Will that fit into a team tame?
