Which is the better option in Forbes?

2B Doran and 3B Buford
or
2B McDougald and 3B Weaver

Am I correct in thinking that I get better D up the middle with Doran/Buford and just as good speed, without suffering in OBP?

how about Weaver and Doran (if you must)? I would take Weaver and a different option at 2B other than Doran/McDougald personally

I concur. If no other options, Doran and Weaver. Doran can surprise and turn in a pretty decent year now and then still getting his speed and defense and Weaver is pretty consistent on small ball teams. My .02

Problem is that I don't want too many bad bats at the back of my lineup. With either McDougald or Buford I get OBP over .400. I have Leibold, Musial and Chance and I'm not sure that is enough at Forbes. I have Concepcion at SS, Doran and Weaver would give me an IF that I can't rely on to hit.

There is not much left to select in this league

Keep Weaver

Evers is on FA wire

You have to pick up Clemente for RF

Bowa is also sitting on FA wire

Joe D, Agee, and Geronimo are all available in Center

Hughson, Seaver, Mogridge,Wilson, Boyd, Reuther, Yerkes are all out there to improve the back end of your rotation depending on who you want in center

Lefferts, Humphreys, Patterson are out there at RP

You are playing in Forbes with Pete and Jack heading your rotation. You need to play defense.

Carter,Chance,Evers,Bowa,Weaver,Musial, Joe D, Clemente
Pete,Jack, Boyd, Speer/Yerkes
Lefferts/Patterson

not a bad team in Forbes

..or trade out Joe D from the above for Agee and Hughson
