I see in one of my games last night that Milt May gets a hit and goes down with an injury (roll of 1-3 with 2 outs and runner on 2nd). I had always presumed (now i know, incorrectly) that the clutch rating turned the "strikeout + injury" into a base hit and the injury was discarded. I guess not. :?

I had always thought that drafting players with clutch ratings on injuries was an extra little bonus that might ward off the likelihood of a player going down (with injury). Anyone else here ever make the same assumption?
