Down with Small Ball!

Down with Small Ball!

Postby Munich_Man » Mon Apr 18, 2011 7:49 am

I have finally turned completely to the Dark Side. My latest team is on pace for over 1600 runs, and currently has scored nearly 200 more runs than the 2nd place offensive team...

Pitching? Who needs pitching!!!

Muahahahahaha!!!!

Certainly cornered the market on leftfielders.

No M Man, don't do it! I think you are a pro on the either side but keep small ball as an option. I still love it even though the trend is now more towards power teams. I believe pitching teams can still win and you know what they say about pitching matters most in the playoffs!

Always two there are, no more, no less: a master and an apprentice.

Discover who is master and who is apprentice, we must............

91 errors in 63 games, almost all of them by outfielders.

Nice....or is Heavy playing catcher at 4(0)e11 T-16?

There is much about this game I have yet to learn. Jedi Training anyone?

Heavy Johnson is playing catcher, Pedro G is playing 3B, Ruth is playing 1B...

If you have a big enough stick, the glove matters not!

No defense!!

While I will not admit to actually having seen any of the new Star Wars, I will say that a Master and an Apprentice struck me, at the time, as being decidedly un-darkside like. I mean, in everything else, evil spreads far and wide, and the good guys are a master and an apprentice, then the master dies and the apprentice kills everyone. Darkside can't win. Too self-limiting. Which seems very out of character for the darkside, no?
