Live Draft League Question

What's the community's take on swapping out different versions of a player to take advantage of different parks/opponents (for example, Andre Dawson's extreme differences against LHP and RHP)?

Its been done. I have seen it done with Sandberg.
You have a limit on how many transactions you can do per season
and you can't do any transactions after game 142 or in the playoffs.
The one season I saw someone do it constantly, they were competitive
until game 142 (up a game or 2) then they faded to 5 back or so
by the end of the season.
My opinions if you need to do this trick to make the playoffs you
probably won't do much in the playoffs and are probably keeping
a better team out of the playoffs that could be more competitive.
