I'm surprised someone else hasn't highlighted this yet, but I thought it would be a good idea to pass along an interesting account by Bob Costas on a recent "Poscast" with Joe Posnanski.

Great story!!!! I could totally relate to Costas's story. I have a similar Jim Gentile story ('65 Colt 45's) vs my brother.

Great interview..my "Gary Geiger" is Jose Cruz (not a scrub but similar dramatic implications) A sweet moment in beating our league commissioner sending my team to the World Series.
