who should I use for closing duties and set up

fryman ,nelson or staley,I currently have nelson as the closer,fryman as the set up and staley is being used as HAL wishes.

Jeff, I think u've got it about right. I'm pretty sure I've had Staley on a Muni '54 team and had success with him as a closer even though he's not one. Roger McDowell as a 5R did better than Staley as my closer there, so Nelson should do fine.
Wish u had Cooper or Yaz on that squad, but looks like your Tigers (Cash and Big Hank) have gotten off to a pretty fair start. I love managing Muni' teams.

Unless going with a cheaper closer who you do not want pitching more than the ninth inning, I think your best reliever should always be set as both closer and set up vs all. If you have a deep pen, it would be ideal to set an R3 not to enter before the eigth inning, thus totally avoiding fatigue in a nine inning game. I think most people do put their best reliever as both set up and closer.
