I like how Hal stuck with Tim Keefe and Danny Darwin. Once you've given up THAT many runs, an out is due, right?

Gotta love that winning line for Keefe: 12 earned runs in 6+ for the win! Then Tincup come in and get absolutely hammered too, but that team still wins easily. :)
Also amazing is that there is only one single F0 on the box score. Usually in games like this a mopup guy goes in and give up 10 or so at F0.

If only Salmon wasn't such a slacker, you could have had at least 1 HR from every lineup position.

What's really amusing is the nonchalant tone of the canned account. Like fourteen homers, forty-five runs and a ten game injury provide nothing in the way of a story hook.

Check this one out. I was actually leading 8-6, but then the bullpen gave up a FIFTEEN run inning:

I guess they got the 2 point conversion

Beggs gives up 8 in 1/3 of an inning, and his ERA only goes up to 4.99
:D
