ATG Historical Team League

How do you get into or start a ATG Team league.
Would like to participate in one.

Just purchase a team and then you pick the salary cap you want and put together your draft list. When you are done it will sho you a list of available leagues that you can join. If you have questions about building your team just ask here and people will be glad to share advice with you. It is truly a great game and I hope you love it. Good luck!

Are you referring to how to start an ATG team or league, or how to start or play in a Franchise Type-League [b:5e516abc8c]within [/b:5e516abc8c]ATG?

I was refering to a ATG Franchise league where u could only draft players fom specfic teams: cubs, cards, tigers, yankees etc....I already am playing in a 1969 and ATG league (and getting my butt handed to me)
Wondering how to either join a franchise keague or start one?

Joining one you have to keep your eyes on the boards for someone advertising an opening.

Starting one you create a thread on the boards laying out your guidelines/restrictions and invite people to sign up. You create a private league with a password and give that to the people who indicate through your thread they are interested. For example:

My franchise league. Rules are pick a franchise, etc. Sign up below if interested.

Can u let me know how to start a private league--looked around but didn't see any info.

Start a thread here setting out the rules and getting signups(unless you already have your 12 managers in which case, skip this). Buy your team and rather than join a league, create a league, password protect it and then distribute the password.

If you want, throw your idea out here and people will help you as needed to get you rolling.
