the honor of starting this thread apparently falls to a stone Cubs fan.
congratulations to a great ss, a great Yankee, and a sure future Cooperstowner, getting it done with flair.
looks as if the pinstripes are going to need to start using 00-09 soon...

Cool post, especially for a Cubs fan!
We Yankee fans usually get derided so when good things happen we just stay quiet and let the Bombers speak with their play.
Kind of like Jetes.
Amazing at how improbable his day was, 5 hits, a HR for the second run scored in the game to tie it at 1-1, at exactly 2 local...
If we had a SOMO card representing his year to that point, we'd be crying "Normalization!" on David Price's card performance!
I still say he's worth every penny for what he has helped build within the franchise. He changed the culture on and off the field and added value to the organization. I dont care what he hits during the last part of his contract, he's worth the money even if he doesn't play. And when he does play, he is a winner.
I dont care what obscure fielding and batting stats say from the Sabre crowd--obviously much of that never verified through his career based on the results. Just ask Giambi as he strode across the plate...ah the moments.
We had his services pretty cheaply for a while at the beginning...
Cheers PRCass!
