I've never really understood the pitching fatigue settings, so I've just pretty much ignored them. Can someone please give me a basic explanation, or point me to one? Thanks!

Look at the Don't Relieve Before section for some definition.

Thanks! Any general rules of thumb for these settings?

Unless your starting pitcher is much better than your pen, don't set a fatigue
rating.
Fatigue levels do drop pretty quickly, so there isn't a huge difference
between, say 4 or 6. I have only used fatigue settings below 5 (well,
after I learned the consequences, anyway) when the pitcher was like
Maddux or Babe Adams or Alexander.
If you want to get fancy and you have two elite SP, try using them 1st and 3rd in your rotation and using low fatigue settings, and use the weaker
starters in 2 and 4 without fatigue settings. You will get more CG for
the top two and a fresher bullpen more often for the 2 and 4 guys.
