Strange Autodraft?

Starting a new $140 mil league and something struck me as really odd after the autodraft was completed.

One of the teams ended up with Ruth, Hornsby, Barry Bonds, Gehrig, Mantle ($8.96M), Larry Walker ($6.16M)...pretty good haul...rest of team pretty poor (he also got Berra and Norm Cash though) but what would you expect...

In same draft...Bagwell, Honus and Willie Wells went undrafted.

Even with this batch of studs..this team still gets 2nd pick in waivers.

I would really liked to have seen the draft orders/lists of the various rounds to see how this could happen. I can't really complain as I had none of the above named ones on my list...and I guess not too many other folks did either.

Just struck me as a bit odd.

My bet is that some of those were flyers taken in the late rounds. The waiver order is not based on quality of players you got. It is weighted based on how high your misses were.
