Setting Lineups

I apologize if this has been mentioned before but it would be nice to have a function wherein you can set your lineups for the away parks just once and never have to micro-manage during the course of the season. Instead of just the one L/R lineup setting currently in use, expand the page to address each unique park in the league and one designated as home......keeping the L/R format.

This function would obviously be suited towards the higher salary cap leagues. I have played 200 mil teams at Forbes and have had guys like Sosa and Mize on my roster that end the season with less than 10 AB's. I then realize that maybe they should have been starting in my away games at the multiple Hilltops and Penmars of the league. I have micro-managed and thrown guys in for a series but I usually have to put a sticky on my computer to remind me to pull them out for the next series.....when I remember to do even that. By no means am I complaining, I just think it would be a positive addition.

Thoughts?

This is outside the scope of the Strat computer game, and so would have to be a site add-on. I suspect it would be a chore for Bernie to program and a nightmare to debug.

I believe this is on Bernie's todo list.

Thanks Joe, I didn't know about that site. I looked it over and I saw that it mentioned "home and away L/R settings". That seems to me as it is allowing for only two distinct lineups, one for home and one for away. I was thinking more along the lines of after the autodraft you can go to your hitters lineup settings and have a lineup card to fill out for every unique stadium in the league. Maybe I don't want Sosa playing in all of my away games but I want him starting in the two Hilltops and one Minute Maid in the league.

I believe it has been mentioned. I would hope if Bernie works on the lineups that he will add this option.

There was a thread where Bernie floated the idea of increased lineup control and I was surprised at how many people objected. Seems there is concern that making it easy for people to adjust to exreme ballparks, etc would lessen the value of using those extremes.

The ability to target Sosa, etc as you describe helps you but the flip side is lessening someone else's advantage.
