CARD MISTAKE

CARD MISTAKE

Postby andycummings65 » Wed Aug 10, 2011 10:08 pm

I am sure this guy has probably [b:f6af7d5be4]never [/b:f6af7d5be4]been used, but there is a card with the name Dolly Gray in the SLB-pre grouping. There WAS a Dolly Gray, but he played for the Senators from 1909-1911 and his stats do not match up. There was a SAM Gray who played for the Browns, and his 1929 stats match up to those on "Dolly's" card.

Please do Sam the dignity of removing the "Dolly" moniker; it wasnt even the poor guy's nickname :D

Hmmm...and how did you stumble across that? Verifying stats of crappy cards is akin to reading the phonebook!
