Constraints are that have to have no more than 2* pitchers, no more than 1 reliever over $4M, 10 total pitchers, 15 total batters, 5 of whom must be <$1.00.
Thought on current roster:
I had Rickey Henderson, but in this park, Stanky gets on more, and O'Neil represents an upgrade at the bat. So, Henderson out. Gwynn was added to cover Henderson's injury risk, give me a backup for his time off who could lead off.
Thought I want advice on:
Given that I can carry 10 bats of unlimited cash (limited by what's available in the league), am I better with Mize at DH and Gwynn as the fourth outfielder or would I be better replacing a position with a platoon, say Mize (and Gwynn out) and Giles/Killebrew in? I like Giles and Killebrew because they don't make outs and they still drill for power.
I like Mize because he has 40 hits on both sides and hits for good power. Gwynn gives me a high caliber backup at my most injury prone position, and with the position flexibility of Ott (and O'neil to a lesser extent) can backup all three outfield spots.
Thoughts?
