My wife Nancy says to our son Mikey..."You have to clean your room tonight."

Mikey asks "Why?"

Nanc says "Because you have school tomorrow."

Mikey says "Yeah but school ain't comin to my room."

Sounds like a lyric for a great country song.

Ah, but it would if he were home-schooled.

Love it Nev!
My 5-year-old says stuff that cracks me up sometimes... when I shouldn't be laughing. And it's even better now that he has a (almost) 1-year-old sister to interact with.

Those surprising things they say and do, especially when interacting with brothers & sisters is awesome.

Back when my oldest was between 2-3 and the youngest was <1, I was working on the computer and the oldest came in a saw one of those old batting helmet ice cream bowls that some retaurant gave away 25-30 years ago.

He asked "Daddy! Who would wear that hat?"

I said "I don't know, probably not even Robbie"

He walked away, I went about my business and he came back a minute later and said "yeah, it doesn't even fit Robbie"

Had a good laugh with that one.
