In contrast to the many requests for team feedback before a season begins, I have an end of the season team feedback question. As my team prepares to head into the final within-division stretch, I know I need to make a change but am at a loss for what to change. I'm one game out in division but have a poor within division record. With a 20% FA penalty, does it even make sense to make a change? Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

three things stand out.
Killebrew is nowhere near his card in that park.
and you have 5 pitchers that are getting killed,--barker, Lavelle and
Freeman, Farmer and Maden.
and you have more lefty killers than righty killers.

part of what you do depends on the number of hitters vs small ball parks there are.

I would look at replacing Killebrew with someone righty balanced who hits for high BA and OBP. Molitor's 87 or 88 card might be a better fit for your park. his 87 card is killer but there is the injury risk.
if Lindstrom is available, I would jump on that pronto.

without seeing your player pool, not sure how to replace any of those three pitchers, being in a pitchers park, you can take pitchers with BP HRs.

if you are in the usual paradigm of facing 1/3 lefty starters and 2/3 righty starters, you for sure want to replace Killebrew with someone like Molitor who is righty balanced

Great observation...thanks. Interestingly I got Killebrew to help offset any LHP I might face and to add just a little pop in my lineup since there are a number of power parks in the league. In division, there is one hitters park (Cath oval prep), one LH dominant park (Dunn), one RH pitchers park (Comisk 55') and mine (Braves 20'). Despite his poor performance relative to his card, he's my RBI leader.

I kept Barker around due to the RH power parks in the league but he's not serving me well within division. I'll troll the FA wire to see who's around.

I have had success in small ball parks both with having one big HR hitter, and also teams that had none, just high BA, high OBP, fast, good D players. I have had guys like Lindstrom, batting fourth or fifth, knock in 100+ runs no prob if the guys in front have good OBP.
I had Kiner on a small ball team one year and he just went nuts.
