funny story from the past

Many years ago [ sometime in the 1980s] while playing in a head to head board game league full of great characters , I was offered an incrediable trade following the draft. One of the members had a Hostess cake route and he so much wanted Cal Ripken who I drafted before him offered me Jim Rice plus all the cake in his truck for Ripken,although I do love Twinkees [who dosent] I declined, The funny thing he was serious his name was Marty and Ill never forget him. He moved to Florida I wonder if he ever discovered ATG,he would love it.

Oh man, I think I would have taken that deal! A truck full of Twinkies AND Rice? Sounds like a great meal. I definitely relate to Woody Harrelson's character in Zombieland, when it comes to twinkies. :D

There's a guy with the handle majicmg named Marty who lives in FL now, but I'm not sure that's the guy that wanted to trade Twinkies for a SS.
