How to Send Emails in a filled League before a Live Draft

I just joined a Live Draft. The draft is tonight. I see a email icon showing up on the active teams page. Generally this means someone has sent you a email.
If the league did not start yet and owners do not have access to the email within the league yet, what is this icon for? I have not noticed this before.

I just figured it out. Click on the team name under the Active teams tab. Then click on "Help". Then you have access to all the menus and can send emails even though the rosters have not yet filled.
