How about a Ewell Blackwell glove?

And a nice remembrance of his career and his military service.

Blackwell started game 5 of the 1952 World Series for the Yankees against the Dodgers (Erskine pitching). This is a wonderful 5 minute summary of a game I think we wish we could have been at.

I have a glove like that but it's a Bill Doak glove.

I had a similar model, but the fingers weren't laced together. It was truly a "glove" with padding and the webbing between the thumb and index finger.
Wish I still had it.

Wish I still had my Marty Marion glove or, for that matter, my George McQuinn claw.
