Site available again? Well sort of...?

Site was unavailable for how long this morning? I tried to get on between 8:20 and 9:00, no luck. Even when I did just get on it was over a minute to even start loading the site. Game completion times now take until 1 a.m. -- had been 12:45 for quite some time.
Gotta wonder if the "site rebuilding" project is responsible for this or just a reprise of the tired, old, stellar customer service for which this site is justly infamous. Or maybe the server can't handle all the new leagues being created because of the influx of new cards?
Inquiring minds...

I tried a little before 7 Eastern, not working at that time.

Interesting that there is no mention of the outage by TSN. I wonder if the thought is something like, 'well if no one noticed it, it didn't happen.' Or perhaps few people try to access the site in the morning. Alternatively, maybe no one cares anymore (customers and TSN).

I don't believe credits were given the last time that happened.

Petrosian is absolutely right.
I don't run the number of teams I once did, but if I did, I would see the problems much more often. For the price we pay, we should get premium service and a game that works.
If Petrosian wants to setup his teams for the day, he should be able to do so when he wants to. He pays a premium price and expects a premium product. As he should and as we all should.

I didnt notice this time. But it is irritating to say the least when a premium access online site is not available and no outage communicated.
It's online access that is being paid for.
And yes, Bernie has at least admitted the lack of dev and test environments, and he has no other way to implement code from what I can see. Dev, test, and live appear to all be in the same enclave. That's not good, especially when ambitious changes are on the horizon. Unfortunately, not much he can do about that presently.

The funny thing is that normally I wouldn't have even noticed it was not working. I'm rarely on in the morning. I get up at 8:20 and have to be at work by nine. I only tried to get on that morning to join the live draft for last Friday night, before it filled.
I do find it incredible that there still has been no word from TSN. But that's par for Bernie's course, unfortunately. My impression of him --accurate or not -- is that he is basically a slacker, with a dream job, who primarily works hard at avoiding being perceived that way. Just another reason for my skepticism about the alleged site rebuild.
Fortunately he does have other, perhaps more compelling, interests:
