Maximizing Sutter

I see Sutter being used a lot and logging tons of innings. I am wondering on the settings, slow hook, fill him in for all the closer slots and maybe set up as well? I am wondering if I am missing anything on the settings.

Thanks

put him down for everything. I have him on two teams and he will get 320IP on both.

closer, setup, close and late, behind and late, middle man too.

slow hook. You probably want to set Lefferts as Lefty specialist, but put that box below all of the Sutter boxes listed above.

Also, switch your team closer setting to regular as opposed to maximize.

Also, if you want to maximize Sutter, there is no need to have your starting rotation consist entirely of S8/ S9 pitchers. You'll get more bang for your buck if swap out a couple of them for similarly-priced S7's, and then set those starters to go for a maximum of 6-7 innings. You could set your current starters that way, but then you would be paying for additional durability that you may not use.

I like to have 1-2 S8-9 to give Sutter a day off here and there. Something about three day fatigue/use.

yes forgot that. mostly S6 pitchers..... regular setting for closers....no need to change to aggressive on relievers though.

and depending on how good your starters are....you may want to put them (or some of them) on Quick Hook.
