Fave <1mil ATGVI hitters

I'm new to ATGVI and noticed Dick Howser had a nice card for being under 1 mil. (.84 mil in this set). He can't get injured (700+ PA's) and looks to be a decent choice with good OBP vs RHPs or LHPs. He's also an "A" stealing and "A" bunting with a 16 running rating. All of that seems like quite a bit for a .84 mil card. He's got positive clutch too.

What are some other cheapies (sub 1 mil) that you like for the VI set?

Lou Pinella 1969 and Buck Martinez 1976 make very nice platoon players vs. LHP.

Cookie Rojas is a 2 at 2B and can play many positions.

Hugh Duffy 1901 can play all three outfield positions, nice stealing and OBP.

Mickey Rivers 1975 makes a great backup CF and pinch runner, he has good OBP for a part time player.

Enos Cabell 1980 is a 3 at 1B and 3B. Good batting average, can steal.

Duane Kuiper has a nice glove and decent OBP for his salary.

Frank Taveras can run wild as a pinch runner and backup SS. He also hits triples with a nice frequency.

Either as positional backups or full time one sided DHs if looking to save money in an 80M or less:

Vs L
JCardenal .52
Cardenas .52
Beckert
Piniella
Many others

Vs R
Backman .77
Baines
Easler
Leon Wagner
Chick Stahl

Good D and Runner:
Bret Butler .64

Nice if ou can get posi clutch on pinchers in my opinion since they may enter with guys on.

The Alou brothers - Mateo and Jesus - are nice backup OFs with good hitting skills.
