Just looking for a quick thought on this new team...

First time playing in Fulton County 78...

Other parks in my division are Fulton 78, Coors 05 and Three Rivers 78.

Rest of the league is Dodger 78, Griffith 57, SBC 05, Shea 71, Penmar, South End Grounds, Braves 48 and Dodger 78 so league is definitely hitter park biased.

I've structured the team to be offense heavy. I have a bunch of 15-game 1 injury risks though and I was wondering if I am carrying too many. If I drop Rickey though, I'm not sure if I have enough OBP for the top of the lineup. In addition, there are some players in the FA pool who would make wonderful platoons if I wanted to switch up.

Thoughts please?

if you only carry gibson and beckwith you'll limit your injuries. drop o'neil. i think you'll do fine with that line-up.

I dropped O'Neil as you suggested Steven. Thanks for the advice. Anyone else have any thoughts please?

This is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt...

If I have Josh Gibson, I wanna see as many LH's as possible. Yes I know he's a monster both ways but he's a 7L.

I'd like to see another lefty bat in this lineup. I'd like my divisional managers to get another LH.

now i would drop a few of either wine/linares/adair and scherman down to .50 backups and use that in addition to the .50 you have in bank and upgrade patten.

Visick and Steven - thanks! I listened to both of you and made appropriate changes. I was able to trade Rickey for Ott for one LH bat and then to make the lineup even stronger, I dumped Wheat for a single platoon in my lineup of Heath/Harper.

I used the money saved to upgrade Patten to Wellman. I would need a significant further downgrade in my lineup to do any better then Wellman though.
