Thrown out at the plate trying to stretch a triple into
an inside the park HR??? Hence, b-0

Talk about greedy!!!! Wasn't it enough that he got the "1" split? He should have been happy with the triple and held up. :lol:

He's probably lucky that Ernie Lombardi didn't get a walk, single, or double before he got that triple. Eric Davis might have passed him on the base paths before old Ernie got half way to 3rd base! :)
