@Munich--yup, live about 20 km south of Heidelberg. Absolutely...

@Adrian--all i can say is: :P ... seeing him here in Europe was a very different experience than concerts in the states. Orderly, dignified affair.

It is hardly a Christmas album. Only a few partial traditional Christmas melodies are in corporated. Most is original or recreAted renaissance , or even middle age madrigal style music and old folk music, played on traditional instruments ...actually he calls it a seasonal winter album since only a few songs refer to christmas. I like it a lot!
He's not a sell out , very creative and going in a unique direction .
