I recently invested another $29.00 on a team in a 80m league, prior to the start of the season I was looking at all the rosters of the other teams I noticed a team in another division that was playing in the Baker Bowl but was put together like a Forbes team. The manager had a [0] rating and I took it upon myself send him a message about teams matching ballparks, the value of defense up the middle [he had all 3 range rated players] and that it would be benifical to make any changes before te season started [20% drop] from the start. Needless to say I got no response. After the season started he began to make multiple changes [few of them good] and now after 21 games his team value is down to about 50m. The league will play out of balance the rest of the way and my $29.00 is probably down the drain. I understand its his team and he can do as he wants but there should be some kind of protection from this lunacy. Maybe a safety switch that would not allow a team to make a move once it has been devalued by 15%.

It's the other guy that's wasted the money spent on a team. You're not getting full value expected from what you signed up for.
Hopefully this fellow will learn the hard way from his mistakes and never repeat them.

Why do you pay $29 for a team? I get mine for $20 with the 5 packs.

the problem is that the teams in his division play him 24 times almost assuring one of them the wild card. When managers destroy their team like that it effects the who;e league.

Out him.
It provides your fellow players here the opportunity to avoid future leagues in which he is a member.
It also enables TSN/Strats the chance to monitor his/her future leagues for any similar activity and take appropriate action.

Im not in this league but, I do agree with this. One bad team can and has spoiled a league.
One other thing that a couple of us have noticed lately as well are a few 0/low rated seeming managers are actually returnees using new IDs.
One of the few things the ratings 'should' be able to tell us is when its an actual newbie- so as to hopefully let the nicer folks like in this case, actually try and help a guy.

I would have loved if some vet had given me hints like that one, when I started! :) Maybe it wouldn't have taken me sooo long to climb up over a .500 winning pct.
Perhaps he's been burned in other games and thought you were scamming him? You know , "ah a rookie, let's see if he's dumb enought to fall for this." Sort of sad if that's the case... probably kicking himself.
When I first started, I used to be afraid to make trades with more experienced guys. I wondered what they knew that I didn't and was worried I'd get pantsed. ( That might stem from trading a Wille Mays baseball card for Adolfo Phillips as a kid {still suspicious till this day})

Since when do teams cost 29.00 bucks? That is way too much money for one team.
Are there ghost teams used by TSN to fill out leagues?
I agree that the manager in question should be outed.
What would stop someone from having two or more teams in the same league under different accounts? A dummy team in their own division so they have a greater chance of winning.
