Don't see any Diamonddope numbers for the newest Willie McGee. How's he doing? I was thinking of hitting him second on a team in Dunn, behind Frisch. I love all of his hits -- but no walks; wondering about his obp.

Thanks!

always curious why he has just si on the 3/7 roll against rhps. normally si is followed by numbers and an out. on the 7 roll this could be a big difference?

That sounds like a good scenario for McGee to me!

The guys a monster, at only 6.57 mil he outhits a lotta 9 mil smallballers.

He won't walk at all but he's one of the few ATG hitters who can still have a decent OBP like that.

I love McGee, he's your man

Used him several times, with Gwynn at top of lineup. Great tablesetters for bigger hitters. McGee can also hit 3rd for some small ball teams.

A sampling. For a long time I had no trouble drafting him in 80-100M leagues. No longer the case.

It's hard enough to draft him now. Please stop talking him up......

Still relatively early in the season (33 games) but I'm not having near the production that others have enjoyed. Not like I'm going to get rid of him or anything but so far I've been disappointed:

.278 BA .315 OBP .358 Slug in an $80 Mill league.

He started out slow for me, but is currently at .324-.369-.490 with 56 rbis at midseason. Team sucks, but that's not his fault.
