Anyone win a championship with a lower team batting average?

It was not a nuanced squad, for sure.

It shows how ridiculously slanted this game is to home runs. Should be called 'beer league softball', not all-time greats.....

disagree; small ball teams win all the time.

Great job!

Kudos to you, Guynick, for having the foresight and guts to think outside of the box and put together a winning team with a unique approach and combination of players. I've been considering that same concept of good starting pitching paired with budget HR hitters. You won with some players I've been considering trying ($2.48 mil Post, $8.80 mil McGwire and $8.96 mil Mantle), but quite frankly, don't have the kahunas needed to do so.

Great job!
